PPM awarded at the 2nd National Prize of Entrepreneurs 2022

PPM Laboratories won the second place at the second National Entrepreneurs 2022 Award on November 23, a competition organized by the National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Khmer Entreprise.

Ms. Try Muykea, export manager of the laboratories, representing Dr. Hay Ly Eang, president of PPM, successfully participated in a question and answer session with the jury, allowing the company to reach the podium. In this final round, PPM competed with 19 other companies from different provinces and cities including Siem Reap, Kampong Cham, Sihanoukville, Kandal, Takeo, Kampot, Tbongkmom, Ratanakiri and Phnom Penh.

Each candidate had 20 minutes to convince the jury, including 8 minutes to present their slides and 12 minutes to answer questions from seven independent personalities from different private companies and institutions. 

According to Ms. Try Mukea, the jury particularly wanted to salute the entrepreneurial vision of PPM, whose mission is to contribute to the health independence of Cambodia.

Khmer Fresh Milk, which produces milk and dairy products, took the top step of the podium.

This year 2022 will have smiled on the PPM – Confirel Group as Confirel received in early November the Asean Business Award, organized within the framework of the Business and Investment Summit 2022, which was part of the meetings related to the Asean Summit 2022 of which Cambodia was the country in charge of the presidency. The previous year, Confirel was awarded the first prize in the national entrepreneur competition.  In addition to highlighting talented and dynamic business leaders, the Entrepreneurship Award also aims to raise public awareness of the important role of small and medium-sized enterprises in the country’s economy, develop public-private partnerships in the spirit of social responsibility, and encourage projects that highlight local products.
